Why do we love the blue-and-white combination so much? We wondered what it is about this pairing of colors that is so appealing - feeling both modern and traditional simultaneously.
Blue and white patterns are timeless and versatile, suiting various tastes and interior styles. Combining deep blue designs on a crisp white background creates a striking visual contrast that many people find appealing. Inspired by the above photo taken by Marian Parsons of Miss Mustard Seed and used in her recent blog post, we took similar items that are available in the shop and replicated this photo that we found so charming. Our photo shoot featured a Chinoiserie ginger jar, a split wood gathering basket, a bone-handled magnifying glass, a porcelain pitcher, and some branches of Beauty Bush (Kolkwitzia amabilis) cut from Jennifer's garden.
