This unique ceramic bowl features a beautiful glaze in shades of warm light grey, navy blue, cream, and deep taupe.  Display as a decorative object or using as a small serving piece.  The unusual design of this small bowl makes it ideal for serving dips, jams, or sauces -- just rest a small spoon on the subtly indented flat decorative part, or alternatively, insert a spreader directly into the slot to keep it from sliding into the bowl part.  Could potentially also be used as a decorative ashtray.  Handmade by Stone Soldier Pottery in Vermont.  Measures 5" W x 2" H.
